Tiliaventum, the Consortium formed by Rizzani de Eccher SpA and Impresa Pizzarotti SpA has won the tender announced by the Delegated Commissioner for traffic emergency of the A4 motorway, concerning the third lot for the expansion of the A4 with a third lane in the stretch Alvisopoli (km 63+300) Gonars (km 89+000).
The total value amounts to 294,049,219.85 Euro.
The works for the construction of Lot III, which concern a total length of the motorway of approximately 25 km, between Alvisopoli (municipality of Fossalta di Portogruaro) and Gonars, will involve for the first 4 km (approximately) the territory of the Veneto region, while the remainder will be in the territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The standard section of the motorway will have three lanes in each direction, 3.75 m wide, a 3.00 m emergency lane and a service road on both sides of the roadway.
The works include the widening of the roadway, the demolition of all overpasses and their reconstruction as well as the complete reconstruction of the bridge over the Tagliamento River, which can be considered the most important work under the technical implementation standpoint. The new crossover will feature two parallel decks, all moved to the Trieste – Venice route. Each one of them will have a length of approximately 1.5 km, while the overall width will be 20.30 m with spans up to 84 m.
The bridge will be constructed with the technique of conjugated segments in pre-stressed reinforced concrete with post-tensioning.
